Funding received by Luxembourg Space Agency through LuxIMPULSE National Space Program
RespectUs has started building the export control compliance digital platform
The all-in-one digital platform which RespectUs is building for space companies and exporters of sensitive goods and technology has been granted a funding by the Luxembourg Space Agency (LSA) through an ESA Contract in the Luxembourg National Space programme LuxIMPULSE.
The SaaS platform will provide 7 modules: knowledge base, product classification, sanctions & embargoes, customer screening, end-use checks, risk assessment and license determination. All modules may be subscribed to separately, the first ones being released before end 2021.

It will allow users to simplify and speed-up internal operational processes to be compliant with export control regulations, to have an easy and reliable access to latest rules and regulations and to keep them away from heavy administrative and penal sanctions. Customers benefit from cost savings and supply chain efficiency and avoid reputation damage and prosecution.
These regulations include the EU Dual-Use regulation 2021/821, entered into force on 9 September 2021, and other international legislative texts, as well as the national legal frameworks of up to 50 countries worldwide.
RespectUs is a Luxembourg based Fit4Start Graduate (9th edition, 2020), with a multidisciplinary 11 head team currently working on the project. The team has a strong expertise in export control compliance and space and is advising exporters of export-controlled goods and technology on internal compliance programs for export control.
